Wedding Show

Orange County Wedding Center will be hosting a FREE wedding show on January 11, 2008 at the Irvine Marriott. You will be able to meet personally with florists, photographers, limos, wedding planners, DJ and so much more. There will also be a give a away of a free cruise for your honeymoon. Must be present to win. It will be a great opportunity to meet all the people you will need to plan your wedding quickly and easily. The free Orange County wedding show will be a great place to start. I am usually there to show you my books, for guest sign in, love stories, family fold out for table top decorations, photo invitations and photo thank you's, but I will be on a company cruise to the Caribbean. As I closely watch the news on our California fires, I think of all the possessions that are lost. Which of the possessions that are most devastating - the loss of photos. Whether it in a photo of the 1800's or the photo you took last week.

Freedom of Speech

Today is election day. I am proud to be an American with the right to vote. No matter how you voted, you probably felt strongly about the choices you made and the ballot you cast. I have the freedom to speak my mind and to tell my story. In some countries you could be arrested, beaten or killed for telling your story, especially if there was military involvement, political views expressed or was a statement outside of the mainstream. It is important that we use our freedom of speech to communicate to others, to communicate to our children, to communicate to the next generation what our beliefs are. What a tragedy it would be if our great Presidents chose not to speak up and share their beliefs. If they did not tell their story, America would not exist. So, I ask that while you are emotionally charged from this day and this election, that you write what drives you, what motivates you, what your beliefs are. That is what makes us what we are, who we are and what we want to be remembered for. This belongs in your story.

Oprah Receives her First Storybook

Royal Ball

As I get ready for the Royal Ball at Heritage Makers Reunion, I am reminded of the dreams that people develop as a child. Perhaps they dream of being a princess, a super hero, ballerina, doctor, vet, or anything else the imagination can hold. Heritage Makers does make some people's dreams come true by the preservation and proliferation of their dreams. In a couple weeks, we will have a Royal Ball. I will be the Book Princess magically turning people's photos into books. It is quite a magical experience for the receiver of such a book. I am a teacher, a coach and a mentor on how to make this magic happen. Like much magic, once you know the secret, it is easy to replicate. I would be happy to teach you the magic of turning your photos into books...whether it is Disneyland, or a photo from the 1800's. Designers Wanted for digital scrapbooking

Calling all designers!!!!! We are looking for people with a great eye for design and get paid royalities for it. Perhaps people have asked you to make their books for them? Perhaps digital scrapbooking is your passion? Heritage Makers is offering the ability to be paid to design templates for the system. We are looking for storyplanners as well as designers, in phase I of our template implementation program. After completing our local Regional Heritage Makers Conference today, we have just started on a race! It is a Race to Reunion, a time where I get to see Heritage Makers friends I haven't seen since today and some not since last year.  Our September Reunion will be in Anaheim, home of Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Tigger, Pooh, Little Mermaid, Ariel, and so many more.  The place where dreams are made.  We will get the chance to earn a trip to Disneyland!

California Regional Conference

Our Heritage Makers California Regional Conference will be this weekend in Santa Ana from May 2-3, 2008. There will be highlights from our best of heritage, new tools in our creativity center, and talks from the leaders in our company, Wendy McGee and Lena Fleming. There will be a range of books on display. There will an address by our CEO, Chris Lee on the progress and outlook of our company. It is a very exciting and invigorating conference for anyone who has the desire to preserve story.

We are here to help.  If you are local, we will set an appointment to scan your photos is seconds.  We can knock out a shoe box in a half hour.  It scans 30 scans a minute.  It works like a fax machine, with a dpi of 300, 600 or even 1200 at no extra charge.
